The TOPTEK Privacy Leverset with Tubular Latch is designed for Australian and New Zealand interior door projects where reliable privacy locking, smooth lever operation, stable installation, and a clean architectural appearance are required.
This commercial-grade interior privacy lever set features a compact 53 mm x 12 mm rose, push-button privacy locking, 28-degree short latch retraction, and a tubular privacy latch with SUS304 stainless steel latchbolt head. The solid precision-cast SUS304 stainless steel lever provides strong structural performance, a stable hand feel, and long-term durability for project-based interior door applications.
Unlike a conventional basic tubular leverset structure, TOPTEK adds extra fixing screw holes inside the mounting structure. This allows installers to add additional screw fixing points on the door, helping reduce lever movement, improve installation stability, and lower the risk of handle misalignment after long-term use.
The tubular latch uses SUS304 stainless steel components. The latchbolt head diameter is 19.8 mm, and the latchbolt projection is greater than 12.7 mm, supporting strong engagement with the strike plate. The stainless steel latchbolt head helps improve durability, corrosion resistance, and smoother contact with the strike during daily operation.
The internal spring-assisted return structure and stabilizing bracket help the lever return smoothly and reduce the risk of lever droop over time. Both the lever and latch are non-handed, allowing easy field adjustment for left-hand and right-hand door applications.
The product is tested to 500,000 operating cycles, aligning with the highest D8 durability level commonly specified under AS 4145.2:2008 for Australian door hardware projects. The latch is also designed with ANSI/BHMA A156.2 dimensional and performance references, including strong latchbolt projection and Grade 2 performance testing to 500,000 cycles.
